Medical Centre Update

Activity has commenced in Whitton Street with the removal of trees to enable site works to commence. Unfortunately this included the necessary removal of five old palm trees that have been a landmark of Whitton Street for many years.
The remaining corridor of palms in Whitton Street will not be affected by the Medical Centre construction, and indeed will contribute to the aesthetics of the new medical precinct when completed. The trees have been removed at no cost to Council and mark the commencement of on-the-ground activity for the new Medical Centre.
