Opening of the Medical Practice in the Kruger Health & Wellness Complex
On Monday 2 February 2009 the medical practice in the Kruger Health & Wellness Complex at
Harden Murrumburrah will officially be opened for business, celebrating a significant primary health
achievement for the communities of and surrounding Harden Murrumburrah, the Harden Shire
Council, the G O Kruger Trust and RaRMS.
At a time when many rural communities have been struggling to acquire medical services, RaRMS
has been able to secure the first GP, Dr Hamid Raoof to work in the centre from Monday 2 February
2009. Dr Raoof is a Harden resident who has provided local medical services for over 3 years.
Pathology services, practice nurses and administrative staff will all be in place for the opening.
A range of specialists, allied health providers (dentists, podiatrists, physiotherapists, optometrists
and dieticians) and additional doctors, including a female doctor will be commencing over the
coming months.
The medical practice will provide specialist and allied health services for the community of Harden
Murrumburrah and surrounding areas.
