The mayor of Harden Shire Council, Councillor Chris Manchester represents Council on the following Committees:

  • CENTROC
  • SERRROC
  • H Division of the Shires Association
  • Goldenfields Water County Council
  • South West Regional Waste Management Group
  • Local Area Command PACT
  • Medical Centre

Under the local Government Act, the Mayor will:

  • Exercise, in cases of necessity the policy making functions of the governing body of the Council between meetings of the Council;
  • To preside at meetings of the Council;
  • Carries out civic and ceremonial functions of the mayoral office;
  • Exercise such other functions of the Council as the Council determines.
