Harden Gun Club

The Harden Hunting Club was formed about twelve years ago by a dedicated group of residents and now consists of one hundred and forty three members. The club consists of The Harden Gun Club for Rifles of up too .22 calibre of Rimfire and Centrefire type and Shotgun, and also a Pistol Club (Young Harden Pistol Club).
The clubs aims are to encourage safe use of all types of firearms and is able to assist in the training and the help of assisting individuals in obtaining the proper licensing they require. Fees at the moment are $40:00 per year and $6:00 per year for juniors which covers membership and Insurance
Harden Gun Club practice days are on the last Sunday of the month where shooters generally use the time for sighting in and testing their weapons. Competition days are on the first Sunday of the month which consists of 50yard Rimfire – 100yard Rimfire – 100yard Centrefire – 22LR Silhouette and Shotgun.
There is a small club room where on competition days it is possible to purchase food and drinks (soft), tea and coffee.
Visitors and spectators are welcome and are required to wear hearing protection whilst in the areas marked.
